Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Development role as part of a MFG Execution System (MES) design, development, test and deployment team that will deliver exceptional IT solutions for Wafer Manufacturing.
Collaborate with key stakeholders on business problems that require leading edge IT solutions, and document all requirements in Confluence.
Perform preliminary sizing and engage supporting teams where required to deliver optimized sizing and design simulations.
Decompose design into manageable work packages for development and implementation, and provide effort estimations on work packages.
Guide the choice of development tools, methodologies, and open-source software for crafting customer-facing applications and automation solutions.
Drive development of new functionalities, algorithms, prototypes, and reports, and deploy them in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Support MES issues and provide guidance on a 24x7 basis for 2 wafer factories.
Integrate with other IT groups including Automation, Factory Systems, and Infrastructure to assure seamless communications between teams.
Operate according to Agile principles
