Job Description

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer (PE or SE Licensed) with 8+ years of experience. Our work is a mixture of building envelope, structural evaluations, repairs, and litigation support. Our most successful candidates excel at managing their time independently while also working as part of a team, perform accurate computations, and maintain professional relationships with co-workers, clients, and contractors.

Day to day responsibilities include:

Prepare intake of initial client contact and manage and develop client relationships.

Coordinate with members of the design team for development of scope of repair documents.

Participate and organize project meetings with building owners, contractors, developers, and architects.

Forensic analysis of component system failures and water infiltration of building envelope.

On site observations to investigate and document existing building envelope conditions and to monitor repairs during construction.

Technical writing abilities a must – you will need the ability to compile observation data and research to produce a complete succinct report of investigation.

Project management from conception to completion including proposal preparation, envelope investigation, design, construction documents, permitting, bidding, contract development, construction administration, and project close-out.

Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
