Direct Counsel is currently seeking a talented and highly motivated attorney to join a dynamic litigation team. As a Litigation Attorney at you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases and gain valuable experience in various areas of law. Firm's practice areas include: employment law, product liability, premises liability, construction defect, public entity formation

Responsibilities:

Handling all aspects of the litigation process, including case investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents such as briefs, motions, and memoranda.

Communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel, clients, and other parties involved in the litigation process.

Representing clients in court appearances and at mediation or settlement conferences.

Building and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located.

Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Excellent research and analytical skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
