Marine Resources are currently recruiting for a number of Marine Engineers along the south coast on a full time permanent basis.

My client is at the forefront of marine innovation, offering an extensive array of high-performance engines, cutting-edge electronics, and essential accessories for watercraft enthusiasts. They are renowned for their expert maintenance and repair services, ensuring every voyage is safe and exhilarating.

They are a trusted provider of Volvo Penta products, delivering top-of-the-line engines and drive systems that are synonymous with durability and performance. As an authorized dealer, they offer a comprehensive range of Volvo Penta solutions, tailored for both leisure and commercial vessels. Their skilled technicians ensure optimal performance and longevity of Volvo Penta machinery with expert installation, maintenance, and repair services, making them a go-to choice for boating professionals and enthusiasts seeking unmatched efficiency and reliability on the water.

The role:
To carry out all aspects of marine engine and associated equipment repair, service, installation, commissioning, warranty and maintenance work. Completed consistently to the highest standards ensuring total customer satisfaction, whilst maintaining Company procedures.

Key Tasks:
1. Carry out routine service and repair work on board vessels or in shipyards and workshop. Including but not restricted to engine, transmission, control systems, shaft line & couplings, domestic systems and DC electrical systems.
2. Carry out full workshop overhaul and repairs to manufacturer’s standards.
3. Carry out commissioning trials and PDI’s to manufacturer’s standards and recommendations.
4. Carry out new machinery and equipment installations.

Salary: 35 - 40k plus a company van with fuel card
