Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Logistics/Stores Technician to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. As a Logistics Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake tasks related to the receipt of equipment requiring customer service actions and service centre inventory.
Book Return Merchandise Authorisations (RMA) and inventory into the company's database.
Arrange for the timely dispatch of demonstration equipment to customers.
Assist with customer service and new order shipping activities when required.
Assist with packing and unpacking of equipment associated with repairs, demonstrations, and new orders.
Maintain the daily unit receipt log and proof of delivery schedule using Excel and SAP.
Ensure full adherence to quality management systems and propose improvements when possible.
Comply with company policies regarding employment, quality, health and safety, IT, and security.

What we're looking for:

Qualifications associated with the use of databases (e.g. SAP) and management of demo equipment stocks.
At least 2 years of experience in a modern and progressive manufacturing/service environment.
Experience in using databases and entering data accurately.
Experience of working within a Total Quality Management environment, specifically BS EN 9001.

Must have:

Very good computer literacy and understanding of databases, email, and spreadsheets.
Good verbal and written reporting skills.
Good ability to understand packing requirements and take accurate measurements of size and weight.
Good general fitness, as some controlled lifting is required.
Excellent attention to detail to produce high-quality results.
Ability to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies and ideas quickly.
Ability to work to ambitious deadlines and under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
