Position: Administrator
Location: Southwark, London
Contract: Full-Time, Long Term
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Are you an organized and proactive individual with recent experience in school administration? Our small and welcoming Catholic primary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated administrator to support our school office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our school and be part of a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling general inquiries.
* Maintain accurate student and staff records, including attendance and contact information.
* Assist with the preparation of school documents, reports, and correspondence.
* Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and appointments as required.
* Provide support for school admissions and registration processes.
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
* Support the school's financial processes, including processing invoices and monitoring budgets.
* Assist with the organization of school events and activities.
* Maintain a welcoming and efficient front office environment.

Key Requirements:
* Recent experience in a school administration role, with a good understanding of school systems and procedures.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in using office software, including SIMS, ParentPay, Arbour, Scholar Pack, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding support to staff, students, and parents.
* An understanding of and respect for the Catholic ethos of the school.
