Global Privacy Services is a centralized team of privacy professionals who work alongside lawyers, and product and data teams to drive compliance across the entire enterprise. The team provides services under five core functions: Privacy Operations, Compliance and Assurance, Data Governance, OneTrust Management, and Compliance Projects. The team is part of a technology & operations department, sitting alongside core HR, Financial, Legal, and Data systems as an enterprise service. Privacy needs run across the entire enterprise, and the team is set up to deliver globally.
We are currently seeking an Analyst, Global Privacy Operations to work collaboratively with privacy professionals, lawyers, and product and technology stakeholders to manage privacy operations, deliver practical advice, and enable projects across the businesses.
In this role, you will:
- Review and process individual rights requests (IRRs) from consumers, employees, contractors, talent, and business partners.
- Be the point of contact for Privacy Operations in the UK.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and brand engagement for system optimization and integration.
- Be an integral part of the Privacy integration.
- Oversee processor onboarding and workflow configurations for major product launches.
- Produce training materials and roll out training to brands on privacy initiatives.
- Assist product teams and lawyers with completing Article 30 assessments, data transfer inventory assessments, and other privacy assessments.
- Manage inquiries coming into external-facing privacy inboxes.
- Work with counsel, technology, and brands to resolve consumer-related escalations.
- Suggest feature requests to improve process flows and introduce efficiencies.
- Support privacy project activities as needed, including user testing and the creation of training materials.
- Create metrics as needed.
- Perform ad hoc compliance reviews as needed, eg, cookie categorizations.
- Proactively identify privacy risks in processes and systems and propose mitigations.
- Draft processes, procedures, documents, presentations, and guidance as required.
What do we require from you?
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
- 1+ years' experience in a privacy/data protection-related field.
- IAPP Certification a plus.
- Bonus points for consulting/project experience, customer service experience, legal operations experience, compliance operations experience.
- Entertainment industry experience required.
Skills Required:
- Technology savvy and capable of issue-spotting privacy problems.
- Strong analytical skills; able to understand and problem-solve for complex issues.
- Privacy knowledge and/or willingness and enthusiasm to dig into privacy issues.
- Experienced in documenting and implementing procedures, controls, and guidelines.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Experienced with OneTrust use and configuration.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail at all times, even with the most routine tasks.
