Pay Rate: £24.87 per hour
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31/12/2024

We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our dynamic team at South Ribble CMHT. This role is an exciting opportunity to work within the community, making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessment, Planning, and Delivery of Care: Manage care plans from initial assessment through to discharge, tailoring support to individual needs.

* Collaborative Care Planning: Work closely with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate person-centred care plans.

* Support Recovery Journeys: Empower and assist individuals on their recovery journey, providing therapeutic interventions where necessary.

* Community Mental Health Support: Engage with mental health service users in community settings, advocating on their behalf and supporting their independence.

* Team Supervision: Provide supervision and support to non-qualified staff members, ensuring high standards of care delivery.

* Mental Health Act Knowledge: Maintain a basic understanding of the Mental Health Act to support care planning and service delivery.

* Collaborative Working: Build strong partnerships with external agencies such as social services and other community healthcare providers.

* Signposting & Referrals: Assist service users in accessing appropriate services, ensuring they are connected with the right resources to aid their recovery.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* RMN Qualification: Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid NMC registration.

* Community Mental Health Experience: Previous experience working with mental health service users in a community setting is essential.

* Advocacy Skills: Ability to advocate for individuals using mental health services.

* Supervisory Experience: Experience in supervising and supporting non-qualified staff.

* Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
