Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver person-centred care and support, promoting independence and well-being for individuals in your care.
* Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating individual care plans to ensure they reflect the needs of each service user.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of support workers, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant care standards, regulations, and safeguarding protocols.
* Manage rotas and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
* Work collaboratively with external professionals, families, and stakeholders to provide holistic care.
* Participate in meetings, reviews, and care plan updates to support service user development.
* Promote a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for all individuals.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is essential.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a care or support role, with prior experience in a senior or supervisory position.
* Full UK manual driving license is essential.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards, and relevant regulations.
* A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals.
