Position: Senior Electronics Engineer

Location: Essex

Key Responsibilities

* Design, Develop, and Test PSUs (Power Supply Units): Lead the design, development, and testing of high-performance power supply units to ensure they meet rigorous specifications and performance standards.

* Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Issues: Identify and address technical or quality issues with PSUs, providing effective solutions and ensuring product reliability.

* Project Leadership: Manage and oversee projects from initial conception through to successful completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

* Customer and Sales Support: Interface with customers for project-related inquiries and RMAs and assist the sales team in addressing technical questions and requirements.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, coordinate timelines, and facilitate smooth production processes.

* Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all designs and processes comply with industry standards and regulations.

* Innovation and Improvement: Conduct research to drive innovation and enhance both products and processes, staying ahead of industry trends.

* Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to internal staff and customers to support skill development and knowledge transfer.

Experience

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics engineering

* Proven experience with PCB design

* Analog Electronics: deep knowledge and experience

* Experience with simulation and design tools such as SPICE and CAD software

* Experience with design of power supplies (AC/DC, DC/DC, or Rectifiers) – theory and hands-on

* Strong understanding of electronic circuit design and testing of power supplies

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

* Proficiency in using SPICE, CAD, and simulation software

* Strong communication and leadership skills

* Prototyping skills

* Soldering

* Commercial understanding
