Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Secondary Schools across Essex

Are you an experienced teaching assistant ready to take on more responsibility? Dunbar Education is looking for skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a variety of secondary schools in Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver planned lessons and support learning in the absence of a teacher
Work alongside teaching staff to provide targeted support to individual students or small groups
Assist in planning and assessing students' work under the guidance of teachers
Manage classroom behavior effectively in line with school policies
Adapt to various subject areas and provide flexible support across different settings
What We're Looking For:
Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a school setting
Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
Confidence to lead lessons and engage with students across a range of subjects
Flexibility to work in different secondary schools in Essex
A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
