Role: Debt Recovery Administrator

Location: Whiteley, Hampshire

Competitive Salary: £23,500-£24,000 per annum

Fantastic Hours: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday (Office based for the first 3 months. 3 days in the office with 2 days working from home moving forward)

The task at hand: Join our dynamic team at Onecom and provide administrative support for the Credit Control Recovery team, entering data into the court linked system, processing through to court, obtaining all contracts and backing paperwork, dealing with defences, and putting court packs together. This will also involve tracing customer, obtaining copies of invoices and maintaining the spreadsheet for the court system.

You'll be great in this role if:

- You have strong IT skills, with the ability to work on multiple systems and proficient in Excel.

- You have previous experience supporting finance transactions teams (advantage but not essential).

- You have outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

- You have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

- You enjoy working with people as part of a team.

- You have the ability to work to your own initiative.

- You are comfortable with adaptation and embrace change in order to deal with frequent changes to processes, roles and tasks.

What you’ll be busy doing:

- Ensure correct and accurate information on customer accounts is always maintained.

- Obtain contracts and complete necessary checks.

- Enter information collected into Delta system.

- Attend weekly credit control meetings to discuss collection progress.

- Run reports and update spreadsheets.

- Send letters in a timely manner.

- Request for Judgment when ready.

- Deal with any court defences.

- Respond to customer emails.

- Send information to the debt collectors after Judgement has been obtained.
