Paying £44K, we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our social housing client on a 12 month fixed term contract as a Project Accountant in North Manchester.
The Job
This is a varied role for a management accountant that has been involved within project-based work, you will be supporting the assistant Finance Director with a key project from research to implementation.
Lead the review on the current policies and procedures
Recommend and implement changes to the findings from your review
Documenting processes and procedures and delivering training and support as required
Contribute to developing solutions to improve the current offering
Review and design Finance workflows to ensure that systems remain efficient and meet operational needs whilst maintaining robust internal controls
Work with various stakeholders to ensure project planning /timetables /deadlines are communicated effectively and adhered to
The Person
You will be an experienced Management Accountant or Finance Business partner with a strong track record and experience gained within social housing
You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy looking at continuous improvement to be a valued agent of change
You will be flexible in outlook and be prepared to be hands on at times
Ideally part qualified with experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Attention to detail
Effective communication with the ability to foster collaboration across departments and cultivate robust relationships
