Job Overview: The firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Family Paralegal to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in family law and a desire to support solicitors in delivering exceptional legal services. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, care and financial settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Client Support: Assist clients with initial consultations and ongoing communications, ensuring they are kept informed about the progress of their cases.

* Case Management: Support solicitors in managing case files, including drafting legal documents, preparing evidence, and conducting legal research.

* Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate case records.

* Legal Research: Conduct research on legal issues, precedents, and relevant case law to assist in case preparation.

* Court Assistance: Prepare documentation for court proceedings and assist solicitors during court appearances and hearings.

Requirements:

* Education & Experience: A relevant paralegal qualification or legal studies background is preferred. Prior experience in family law is essential.

* Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

* Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach to client interactions.

* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proclaim.
