Manufacturing
Immediate Start
£46k - £50k Annual
Full-Time
We are representing a multinational billion-dollar manufacturing company who produce high performance Inks and Coatings.

We are looking for an experienced EHS Manager for a fantastic, autonomous opportunity with the business. Based at their site in OL10 (Heywood/Rochdale region). Salary up to £50,000 p/a plus benefits.

This manufacturing site is the company's UK site and as the EHS Manager you will be asked to be the lead and technical expert on all EHS matters including Legislation across the site. You will drive and maintain legal compliance with EHS legislation and advise line management with the implementation of new and existing EHS procedures and company standards.

The role is for an experienced EHS Site manager who ideally has implemented ISO 45001 and has plenty of experience of managing UK EHS Law 14001 and 9001.

The UK site is still evolving and not as advanced as other global sites as far as the Organisation systemisation is concerned. Therefore, the EHS has a great challenge and autonomy to lead and run the EHS values through the site in its entirety.

This is a COSHH site and you will need knowledge of similar sites in your previous capacity as EHS Manager.

We are looking to speak to candidates with the following demonstrable experience and knowledge as a minimum:

* 5 years working in H&S in a Manufacturing environment

* Environmental policy deployment across an organisation

* NEBOSH

* Experience of COSHH sites and ensuring risk assessments and manual handling are always completed.

* Ability to investigate and manage correct PPE is allocated and in place, as well as any accidents, incidents, spillages and near misses.

* You must have the experience and attention to detail to produce regular EHS KPI data and reports and include any clear actions plans and opportunities for improvement.

* You will have P&L responsibility, and you must be able to control costs across the EHS division.

* Any dealings with working across a Multinational organisation, especially across Europe would be an advantage.

* Any experience of implementing 45001 would be a distinct advantage.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 8.30am - 4pm.

Some travel may be required and some time (especially the first hour or 2) may be needed from time to time on the night shift to ensure the shift managers are up to speed on any new procedures or incidents
