7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver: Duties
* Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to customers
* Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
* Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
* Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver: Qualifications
* Valid driver's license with a 7.5-tonne entitlement
* Category C1 License (required)
* Driver CPC Hours (required)
* Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred: 7.5t Driving: 1 year (required)
* Customer Service: 1 year (required)
* Good knowledge of local roads and routes
* Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks up to 150kg related to loading and unloading
* Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
* Strong communication and customer service skills are a must due to the nature of the role.
* Ability to work in a team to provide the best solutions for our customers.
