With a focus on preparing delicious meals for service users, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their dietary needs are met while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook nutritious meals for service users, taking into consideration any dietary requirements or preferences
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations
Tasks such as washing dishes, cleaning surface areas, and disposing of waste
Collaborate with the team to create menu plans that cater to the diverse tastes and nutritional needs of the residents
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and minimise food wasteRequirements:

Experience as a Cook in a similar setting, preferably within a care home or healthcare environment
Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with relevant certifications
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong organisational and time management skills
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for cooking nutritious and delicious meals
Evenings and weekends as required, on a rota basisBenefits:
