Full time - 37.5 Hours

Harry at Amber Mace is working with a growing Homecare provider to recruit a dedicated Field Care Supervisor. This role has arisen due to company growth, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow alongside the business as it continues to expand.

In this role, you will:
• Provide full support to care staff in the community, ensuring they deliver exceptional care and remain compliant with company policies.
• Review cases for new clients, assessing whether the company can take them on and determining the scope of services required.
• Conduct regular assessments, reviews, spot checks, and competency assessments to maintain high standards of care delivery.
• Act as a mentor to new care workers, helping them build confidence and maintain professionalism in their roles.
• Carry out audits on progress notes and medication records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Input, maintain, and manage client and staff records in both paper and electronic formats, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Play a key role in identifying staff training needs and supporting training both in the office and in the community.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, their representatives, and external professionals such as social workers.
• Offer additional support in the office when required, including printing essential documents such as client files, care worker handbooks, and training materials.
• Report any concerns regarding care quality, client safety, or staff issues directly to the Registered Manager or Directors.
• Manage your own workload and time, splitting your responsibilities between fieldwork and office tasks as needed.

Skills & Experience Required:
• Strong knowledge and experience within the care sector, including previous supervisory roles.
• Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide staff.
• Ability to work both independently, using your own initiative, and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills
• Qualifications in Health and Social Care are preferred.
• Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle, as the role involves travel between clients. (p/per mile for travel to clients)
