Role: Mechanical Inspector
Location: Harlow, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 plus 10% performance related bonus once probation has been passed
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Mechanical Inspector to join our client’s successful team in Harlow, Essex.
About our client:
Our client is a multi-million pound turnover Engineering business that has seen exceptional growth in the past few years. Operating across a wide range of sectors including Automotive and Healthcare they are currently looking for a to join their team based at their new machine shop facility.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced inspector , preferably someone who has completed an engineering apprenticeship, although relevant experience with coordinate measurements/GD and T and general inspection would suffice.
Duties of a Mechanical Inspector:
First off, in-process and final product inspections
Produce data for first article and initial sample inspection reports and report to HGL Main Inspection office
Maintain quality management systems an100 prodcures thropughout the production processd documentation in line with ISO 9001 & AS9100 systems
Maintain conformance to internal, and AS9100 procdures throught the production process
Maintain calibration for all equipment on site and arrange annual assesments as required
What we would like from you:
Have exeprience with CNC Machined parts
Have expereince with GD and T measurement
The ability to interept Standard Engineering Drawings
Have experience of CMM Programming and Measurement
Have experience maintaining calibration records and processes to ISO 9001/AS9100
Experience with hand held measuring equipment and height gauge
