Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a PHP Developer for an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £500-550/day Inside IR35. This role will be a hybrid of home and office working.

Essential Skills:

- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience developing with Object Oriented PHP. Must be familiar with PHP 7.3 upwards.
- Experience of designing and querying complex RDMS in various flavours of SQL.
- Good knowledge of Git version control system
- Can work as part of a team
- Experience developing WordPress plugins and themes
- Experience working with Drupal
- Experience implementing automated tests in a web application
- Knowledge of web accessibility would be highly desirable.
- Experience using Drizzle ORM
- Experience using React
- Experience using NextJS
- Knowledge of the Scrum framework and other agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with the Laravel framework
- Experience in jQuery and Bootstrap.
- Prior experience of working with a design system
- An understanding of user-centred approaches (usability and quality user experience).
