Business Analyst
Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in finance, data modelling, and data management to join their dynamic team in the Finance & Risk data Domain. This team plays a crucial role in implementing current and future data structures to support stakeholders in Finance and Risk.
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between financial products and their representation in banking systems. Your primary responsibility will be analysing how data is captured, reported, and functionally mapped across various systems. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure data processes align with both internal policies and external regulations.
What you are going to do
Analyze and map data in banking systems to ensure accurate accounting and reporting in daily operations.
Collaborate with the team to investigate requirements, develop functional mappings, and propose solutions for data gap closures.
Proactively validate and test data throughout the entire process chain, ensuring quality at every stage.
Work closely with senior business analysts and contribute to the team's success in achieving key objectives.
Act as a representative of key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with both internal procedures and external legislation.
What you bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Data Management, etc.).
Atleast 3 years of experience in a Finance-related role, preferably within an Accounting or Reporting domain.
Strong knowledge of Data Management processes, including data sourcing, transformation, and ideally data lineage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with experience in Scrum/DevOps teams.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
