About This Position:

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for driving a company vehicle for an established route/territory. They will assist in the loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customer locations. 

Our ideal Deliver Driver excels at the following: 

Passionate about food, service and driving

Has a solid understanding of food handling regulations 

Desire to always learn more 

Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently 

Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly 

Dependable and flexible  

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities 

Learning the delivery area. 

Must be able to drive a box truck.

Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. 

Checking orders for quality and accuracy. 

Following proper delivery procedures. 

Assist with food preparation, serving, and kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing as needed. 

Assist with receiving food and supply deliveries from vendors and restocking. 

Transfer supplies and equipment by hand or with cart as identified by supervisor to the proper location. 

Gather supplies required for each site as detailed on production sheets and order guides. 

Load, Unload, and deliver products and orders in a timely manner. 

Report any necessary maintenance or repairs needed on the company vehicle to the manager. 

Responsible for maintaining and keeping the vehicle clean 

This role includes physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.

Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift when not driving. 

Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

One (1) years' experience in delivering products/inventory preferred.

A valid state driver’s license for assigned vehicles is required. 

Excellent organizational skills. 

Ability to transport and set up food and food service items. 

Knowledge of safe driving procedures and traffic rules. 

Strong team orientation.
