Internship Summary

Helping Texans is the H-E-B Way. Spend 10 weeks with us exploring the retail industry as an H-E-B Digital Intern. Program dates will be from June 2nd – August 9th. Interns will be required to be In Person out of our San Antonio, Austin or Dallas offices. Housing will be available for qualified candidates.

Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills

Organization and time-management skills

Professionalism and willingness to collaborate in a team environment

The ability to manage multiple priorities, shift focus between tasks, and pay attention to details

Have the drive to get things done

Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Advanced analytical skills

Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program

Program Expectations

Must have reliable transportation or be open to using public transportation

Must be available for the entire 10 weeks

The availability to commit to full-time work in-person for the duration of the Internship, and work a varying work schedule, if required

Physical and Other Requirements

Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment

Lift 20 lbs or more on an occasional basis

Work rotating schedules

Projects previous Interns have worked on:

A previous intern developed and created a new sharing functionality to enable dietitians to send product lists and recommendations to patients. This is a way to integrate both the wellness and grocery retail spaces.
