The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more. The ASU Pre Op team is team oriented and very collaborative keeping quality and safety as our main goal. The Manager leads by example and coaches and mentors and elevates her team members. This position will work in our Ambulatory Surgery Unit/Pre-Op Holding.  This position will prepare patients for surgery and recover outpatients from phase 2 recovery to prep them for discharge to go home. Under the direction of the Director/Manager/ Charge Nurse, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care. This RN position is for the Ambulatory Surgery for preop and phase 2 post-op.  1 day off during the weekday.  Requires on call for after hours during week days and weekends for urgent/emergent cases. Shift will be Mon-Fri 9am-7:30pm and will work four 10-hr shifts per week. This is a Full Time position eligible for a sign-on bonus. 

Qualifications:

Education:

- Associates Degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

- Registered Nurse License

- BLS

- ACLS

- PALS

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

- Medical/Surgical or Critical Care experience of 1 year preferred

- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

-1 yr of RN experience in Medical or Surgical preferred
