UF Health Shands Rehab Services is dedicated to providing excellent patient care to individuals throughout north central Florida. Through comprehensive rehabilitation programs, we hope to create a safe and comfortable environment that empowers individuals to manage their care independently, return to a functional lifestyle and improve their quality of life. We are dedicated to treating our patients with compassion, creativity, respect and confidentiality. Our rehab centers accomplish this with close working relationships between our referring physicians, therapists, support staff, University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions and the University of Florida Athletics Program. Our therapists provide rehabilitation services and education to patients. We offer continuing education, journal clubs, staff mentoring and the ability to be involved with student clinical education and our UF Health accredited residency programs in Sports and Orthopedics. This particular opening will be an outpatient physical therapy role which will located inside the brand new Ocala Neighborhood Hospital. 

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements::Bachelors in a Rehab Therapy. No previous clinical experience necessary. Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of therapy services and settings. Demonstrates strong communication skills.Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required): (Refer to CP 1.51):Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or University of Florida Health automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form at the time a RFP is submitted to post the position.Licensure/Certification/Registration::Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Florida.
