Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Hourly Pay: $22.53 Per Hour

Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week

Sign On Bonus: Pays you $750 at 30 days and $750 at 90 days

Safety Bonus: Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter if eligible

Paid Training

Schedule: Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS

Start Time: 5:00 AM; Except for Wednesdays 4:00 AM start

Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities. 

Deliver SOLO To: MN, WI, & IA - 150 mile radius 

Route: Local Home Daily

Tractor Type: Box Truck 

Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate, & Hand Truck

Freight: Touch – Telecommunication equipment – Reels of cable, modems, internet supplies

Requirements:

Minimum 21 years of age

Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment:9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 

2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years' experience within the last 10 years 

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Must have a valid driver’s license

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note:  Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities:

This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards

Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Other tasks as assigned
