Overview:

Manage and execute sourcing strategy and relationships with internal and external stakeholders, mainly within various Corporate Services categories. This position plays a crucial role in cost savings, process improvement, and achieving corporate goals and initiatives. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities:

Drive ongoing category management with key stakeholders.

Develop, lead and implement sourcing strategies from concept to execution within assigned categories.

Establish and grow relationships with internal business leads/departments to understand sourcing needs and requirements over a multi-year period.

Support business owners to strategically manage vendor relationships.

Develop and present procurement driven results to business unit leadership.

Facilitate vendor relationship management as necessary.

Lead negotiation of pricing, terms and conditions.

Develop RF(x) materials and related documentation.

Ability to analyze data to identify potential opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance and process improvement.

Proactively manage contracts that are coming up for renewal or expiration/termination. 

Lead and manage multiple projects of high complexity simultaneously.

Comply with corporate guidelines and regulations.

Facilitate legal review and Third Party Risk Management Assessment processes.

Keep current with market trends and demands for assigned areas of spend responsibility.

Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, logistics OR business administration.

8-10 years experience in Procurement

Excels in negotiation and influence of parties both internal and external.

Critical thinker with great problem-solving skills.

Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills.

Great communication, interpersonal and networking skills.

Project management and leadership skills.

Preferred: 

Experience in sourcing and procurement processes within Corporate Services categories such as Underwriting/Sales, HR, Marketing, Finance, etc.

Any additional training or certificate will be considered an advantage.
