Overview:
The Assembly Technician will conduct preassemby preparation, operate production machines, ensure the manufacturing lines have enough product to continue running, complete job quality / production reporting and ensure quality control requirements.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-assembly/project preparation
Review parts modifications
Compare scanned images to drawings to verify parts issues
Operate a variety of equipment and tools to assemble mechanical and/or vehicle components in assigned areas
Fill vehicle systems with required fluids/coolants/oil and conducting test drives to confirm vehicle operation/safety
Perform special modifications to existing vehicles per assigned work requests
Inspecting/testing parts to confirm quality/operation and interfacing with design engineers to verify technical data and review final assembly
Qualifications:
Competent use of equipment/machinery/software required to perform job
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes related to vehicle assembly
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies
Possess decision-making, problem solving and detail-oriented skills
Excellent analytical, prioritization, decision-making and judgment skills
Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and team building skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Catia
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent

frequently bend, reach, lift and stand
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
