Overview:
Manages individualized, goal‑directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred. AS in Nursing Required
BS or MS in Nursing is preferred
Minimum Work Experience: At least 1 year of acute care experience is preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Current state registration or eligibility to do so
BLS by 30 days of employment
ACLS and PALS by the end of first year of employment
TNCC, ENPC, or CEN is preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills.
