Shift Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pm  Mon- Fri

Job Description:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll work on heavy equipment that requires a high level of skill: hydraulics, electrical, diagnostics and welding. 

Perform all maintenance and repair activities on High and Heavy Equipment

Design and fabricate engines according to customer specifications

Test and measure equipment

Perform diagnostics, repair, disassemble, and reassemble systems

Install attachments as required by customer  

Drive wheeled machines from discharge or parking location to work areas

Complete required paperwork/programs for the repair or parts installation on all types of equipment and machinery.

Job Requirements:

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

*MUST be AWCS certified*

Working knowledge of various mechanical and technical systems, and the physical ability to apply this knowledge in a hands on manner.

A working knowledge of welding techniques; gas, arc, mig, & tig

Ability to apply practical knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines and associated systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on various systems for the purpose of disassembly, repair, and reassembly.

Ability to use various test equipment, hand tools, and measuring equipment.

Ability to read and understand schematics and prints.

Ability to conduct work responsibilities while exposed to dirt, dust, and fumes from the operation of construction equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc.

Current valid driver's license.

The pay or salary range listed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum projected rate of pay for the specific position across our United States locations. The current base hourly range for this position is $35.00-$40.00. Wallenius Wilhelmsen team members are also eligible for annual merit-based salary adjustments, and participation in competitive benefit programs. Some roles in the company may offer an additional annual bonus. Additional details on salary or pay ranges and benefits will be available through the interview and employment process. Salary or pay ranges are separate from bonus opportunities and/or benefit plans. At Wallenius Wilhelmsen benefits and perks listed here may vary depending on the nature of employment with Wallenius Wilhelmsen and the country work location. This role will have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic and supplemental life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
