We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill an opening in our Benson, NC location as Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading and motivating the production team to exceed goals and monitoring the day-to-day production activities to ensure that production efficiency goals are being met, safety protocols are being followed, and quality product is being produced. Directly supervises 20 - 30 hourly employees. Support our culture of engagement, empowerment and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the establishment and leadership of plant Safety and Operational Excellence objectives

· Lead, counsel, train, and develop team members

· Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, quality, high performance, and customer-driven priorities

· Responsible for accurate reporting of asset quality, productivity and other Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

· Communicate and follow Management of Change processes, production schedules, and company policies

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

· A four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience. Preferably in textiles, extrusion or paper.

· A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role with a strong background in front-line leadership

· Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing certification or experience strongly preferred

· 12 hour shift 7am - 7pm

· Based on business needs, Berry Global in Benson is a 24/7/365 facility
