E-commerce Manager

Up to £34,000

Leeds - Hybrid (1/2 days per week in the office)

Sanderson are recruiting an experienced E-commerce Manager to join our leading client based in Leeds. The role will encompass three key areas;

  • E-commerce Management: Lead the E-commerce efforts for assigned clients, managing end-to-end responsibilities.
  • Digital Project Management: Oversee web design and development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Digital Strategy Development: Conduct audits, craft strategies, and implement digital recommendations that meet client objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic E-commerce plans, including annual strategies and day-to-day operations.
  • Co-ordinate cross-functional teams to deploy multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure the seamless operation of client E-commerce platforms, including content management/changes, product & offer setup, and visual merchandising.
  • Identify areas for improvement in website functionality, performance, and user experience, collaborating with development teams to optimise these aspects
  • Manage E-commerce P&L and ensure profitable growth for client channels.
  • Analyse Google Analytics data to inform strategy adjustments and opportunities.
  • Produce and circulate daily trading and monthly performance reports.

Key Skills and Knowledge Required;

  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels including email marketing, paid search, social media, and affiliate marketing.
  • Experience with website design and development, particularly on platforms like Shopify and WordPress.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of the digital industry, including trends, tools, and technological advancements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
