Are you a Project Planner looking for a new challenge? Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a client based in Hebburn with the appointment of a Project Planner, working within a fabrication environment.

We are looking to speak with MSP Project Planners who have experience within fabrication, marine or defence sectors. You will be happy to jump into a brand new role, planning a fresh and unique project.

You will have had experience using MSP, creating detailed project timelines and knowledge of Earned Value Management.

Responsibilities include:

* You’ll be responsible for managing complexity, ensuring smooth workflows, and adapting plans as needed to account for the unique nature of this project.

* Building timelines from scratch, considering all stages of production, including design, procurement, manufacturing, and quality checks.

* Technical drawings, specifications, and job requirements need to fully grasped in relation to the technical aspects of the work to create realistic plans

The Person:

* Knowledge of fabrication, structural and production processes and engineering principles with qualifications in Engineering, Production Management, Construction or similar is vital

* To control and steer projects, knowledge of Earned Value Management is desirable.
