Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 (dependent on experience)

Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Newcastle. You'll play a key role in delivering projects as part of a major capital investment programme. The role offers the opportunity to provide technical solutions, mentor junior engineers, and support Project Managers in delivering cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical solutions and advice for water sector projects
Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team
Support Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure delivery of projects within cost, schedule, and quality standards
Ensure all projects meet both client and internal expectations in terms of technical standards and quality

What Our Client is Looking For:

Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Chartered or Incorporated membership in a relevant engineering institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM)
Previous consultancy experience is preferred
Experience in one or more technical areas:
Sustainable Urban Drainage and Surface Water Management
Trunk Mains and Large Diameter Pipeline Design
Service Reservoirs
Clean Water Treatment
