Responsibilities as an Art and Design Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Art and Design lessons to students of varying abilities.
Encourage students to explore their creativity and express themselves through different mediums.
Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student participation.
Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the art and design curriculum.
To be a successful Art and Design Teacher, you should:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
Have experience as an Art and Design Teacher in a school setting.
Possess strong subject knowledge in Art and Design and the ability to teach across key stages.
Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Have the ability to inspire students and make learning fun and engaging.
Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
