Manpower Engineering are working with a Global supplier of Quality High Pressure Systems in their search for a Manufacturing / Production Supervisor based at their North East site.
Overview of the role
Main Duties
Ensuring the smooth running of processes within the production environment.
Overseeing routine production and stores activities, troubleshooting and solving production progress issues that arise on a production floor/stores and ensuring a safe, clean and productive work space.
Plan day-to-day activities for all production and stores personnel.
Motivate and drive production and stores personnel, dealing with issues raised and any conflict, reporting back to MOM.
Identify technical issues arising within the production facilities and liaise with MOM to resolve these as necessary.
Deal with issues during build/production and report to MOM.
Drive & Maintain a positive QHSE outlook within the production facility.
Participate in production, expediting, capacity review and H&S meetings.Requirements
Minimum of HND Mechanical Engineering / Engineering Apprenticeship or demonstrable experience in working in a supervisory role in a similar environment.
Capable of working in a multi-tasking, time critical environment, managing sometimes conflicting requirements as workloads evolve.
Ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver high quality products on time.
Knowledge of Liquid and Gas equipment would be advantageousOur client is offering an attractive basic package plus bonus and overtime opportunities
