Job Title: Associate Recruitment Consultant
Reports to : Team Manager
Location: London (near to Liverpool Street station)
Salary: £25k, raising to £28k upon successfully completing 6 month probation
Commission: As a consultant you will earn commission on business you generate
1st Year OTE: £30k-£35k

Job Overview
As an Associate Consultant, you will be required to develop client relationships and establish a candidate base to match to the right job. You will identify business development opportunities and place candidates into roles in order to build a successful desk. Successful consultants will enjoy working to activity KPI’s and financial targets and will have the tenacity to succeed within a competitive market. The individual targets of an Associate Consultant is part of the wider team target and contributes to the overall company annual business plan. You will be a pivotal member of the team undertaking all functions of the 360 recruitment model.
Upon joining the business, you will receive extensive training so that you can gain a full understanding and competency level of all facets of the recruitment role.
Responsibilities and Duties
As an Consultant you will be required to:-

Place suitable candidates into jobs to meet client requirements and achieve personal targets
Identify, attract and headhunt new candidates in order to meet personal activity targets
Identify and convert sales leads and develop a robust client base
Identify and develop new business leads
Manage and proactively develop client relationships
Network effectively across candidate base to gain referrals and market information
Understand and meet agreed weekly KPI’s in line with business expectations (calls, interviews, vacancies, visits)
Ensure candidates are safeguarded and compliant before they start work. Work in partnership with the compliance team and other internal divisions
Comply with company management systems, payroll, billing and database management
Promotion of teachers into schools via various channels
Map new geographical areas and update lapsed client school detail
Provide excellent candidate care and customer service to your client schools and Teachers
Become an expert in the use of the company CRM
Design and prepare regular mailers to clients & candidates
Build a presence on social media to promote yourself as a market expert

Summary
Recruitment is a sales job, where your career will be defined by the success of your business. Whether it be cold calling non-using clients, heading out on visits or developing a relationship with an existing user, you will always need to be looking to achieve the targets you have been set.
This isn’t a 9-5 job, the team are in the office at 7am working to secure opportunities for their candidate base. Whilst we finish at 4.30pm, if the work isn’t done or your clients need that last minute placement, we stay to ensure that all expectations are met
