Academics Rochester are working with 'Good' Ofsted rated Primary Schools, who are seeking a supportive and motivational HLTA to support children across KS1 and 2
As a HLTA working with mainstream SEN children, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored education to primary-aged children with a range of special educational needs.
You will be working on a 1:1 basis or small groups of SEN children to support their education plans in an inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
Follow personalised learning plans for students with special educational needs
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to teacher
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social emotional and academic development
Maintain accurate records of students' progress and participate in regular reviews and assessments
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in SEN education
Qualification and Requirements:
Really good behaviour management skills
Proven experience in teaching children with special educational needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload
