Quality Engineer - Blackburn.

As Quality Engineer you will play a critical part in overseeing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections and tests, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement robust quality assurance plans and procedures for aerospace products.

* Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.

* Analyse test results, identify potential quality issues, and implement corrective actions.

* Ensure that all products meet regulatory and internal quality standards

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to integrate quality controls throughout the product lifecycle.

* Conduct supplier audits and work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

* Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of quality assurance activities.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system.

* Train and mentor production staff on quality standards and procedures.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.

* Experience in quality engineering within the aerospace industry.

* Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations.

* Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
