Description

Manage and oversee all fixed asset activities within the organisation
Maintain records of all fixed asset purchases and disposals
Perform periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliations
Coordinate with other departments for fixed asset needs
Prepare and present fixed asset reports to management
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations related to fixed assets
Participate in the annual budgeting process
Assist in other accounting tasks as neededProfile

A successful Fixed Asset Accountant should have:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Proficiency in accounting software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ideally be studying towards a professional accounting qualification
