Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC Registration
Experience of working with people with mental health needs
Understanding of the Care Act 2014
Knowledge of Enablement and the Recovery Model
Local authority OT experienceNonStop's client is an improving local authority are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Mental Health team that is committed and passionate about improving lives of local residents. You will be working service users aged 18 years old and above, and will be supervising an Enablement workers and a social care assessors.
As a qualified Occupational Therapist you will need to be able to complete OT assessment to determine the level of functioning Of S/U's and identifying goals to work on to facilitate achieving a level of independence. The caseload will primarily be services users identified as having a potential to step down from high level support; residential/supported accommodation to low/independent living.
