Overview*

We are currently seeking a Fabricator/Welder to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding and assembling.

*Hours & Pay Rate*

Salary- £32,441. (Overtime paid at time and half).

Mon-Thurs 8am -5pm & Fri 8am – 4pm

*Responsibilities*

* Using the utmost due care and attention to detail, Weld, Fabricate and Assemble to detailed project/product drawings the Steel Frames, Doors and Panel variants.

* Undertaking the Welding, Fabrication and Assembly process for Steel components and sub-assembly parts used for standard stock requirement using the same ethos.

* Ensuring quality, consistency and integrity of the weld and fabrication process through all stages.

* Being pro-active within your role and highlighting and recording any possible issues, problems, variances during the weld and fabrication process to your line Manager as well as contribute to the company’s ideas and suggestions incentive for continuous improvement.

* To ensure all working practices and operation of machinery is conducted within the appropriate company or legislative Health & Safety guidelines.

* Any other duties requested by Management to enable the smooth and continuous running of the production area.

*Qualifications*

- Proficient in welding techniques

- Experience in fabricating metal components

- Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools

- Understanding of basic mathematics for measurements and layouts.

Pay: £32,441.00 per year
