October 2024 – July 2025 on a full-time basis.

Vision for Education are looking to recruit a nurturing and supportive Early Years Teaching Assistant in a primary school in they Heywood area of Rochdale. This exciting opportunity is open to all teaching assistants who are enthusiastic and committed to the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The role and school

The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will be supporting a Reception class of 30 pupils and will be guide by the class teacher. The ideal Teaching Assistant will share an excitement and passion for the role, as this enable them to be better equipped in making lasting and meaningful impacts on the children’s lives.

Requirements

To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will:

Have experience of working with primary aged children.
Have experience of working with pupils with SEND.
Build good working relationships with pupils, school staff and parents/guardians.
Level 2 or above in a Teaching Assistant course.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
