Remedy Education are looking for an experienced teacher who has taught children with either ASD or complex needs; a dedicated, passionate and committed practitioner, who achieves the very highest standards of teaching and learning. The school wants someone who is able to see the possibilities for our exceptional learners and develop provision that enables all to thrive.
You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic and well qualified staff team and will find this post challenging, stimulating and rewarding. In-service training and an induction programme will be provided by the school. You will be teaching a highly differentiated curriculum and will need to be able to engage with and teach students who may have a wide range of ability, along with a diversity of challenging attributes.
Expectation
* You will have qualified teacher status and relevant SEN qualifications / training.
* Experience of working with children with ASD/SLD across the 3-11 age range.
* Awareness/experience of using a range of teaching strategies designed to meet educational needs of children with ASD/SLD
The School
* Primary special school for children aged 2-11 with SLD, PMLD, Complex Medical Needs and ASD.
* The school is above average size primary special school and is the only one of its kind in the borough.
* It caters for children with a wide range of learning disabilities and all have a statement of special educational needs.

The school has a MOVE centre of excellence, and has recently designed and implemented a ground breaking personalised assessment system.
