NetBackup Specialist - £500 per day via Umbrella - Short term contract - Remote - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking a skilled and experienced NetBackup Specialist to perform a comprehensive upgrade and installation for a mission-critical environment. The role involves upgrading and provisioning Servers and appliances to the latest software versions of NetBackup Flex and related components.

Your responsibilities as the NetBackup Specialist:

• NetBackup Flex Appliance to the latest Flex Software Version.
• NetBackup Flex Primary server to the latest compatible version.
• NetBackup Media server to the latest compatible version.
• New NetBackup Media server running the latest compatible NetBackup version.
• Install the latest NetBackup server EEBs (Emergency Engineering Binaries) on all relevant Servers.
• Verify the versions of NetBackup Flex Appliance and NetBackup Servers to ensure successful upgrades and installations.

As a successful NetBackup Specialist, you will have:

• Proven experience with NetBackup Flex Appliances and NetBackup server environments.
• Hands-on expertise in upgrading, provisioning, and installing NetBackup components.
• Strong knowledge of version compatibility and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with EEB installation processes and best practices.
• Ability to perform detailed verification and testing of upgrades to ensure seamless integration.
