Primary Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee various environmental projects, including but not limited to remedial actions, field sampling, groundwater investigations, and munitions response projects.

Prepare comprehensive technical reports and project proposals, demonstrating proficiency in project management methodologies.

Develop and implement remedial and removal strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client expectations.

Supervise personnel and provide mentorship to staff, fostering their professional development in technical areas.

Cultivate expertise in designated technical domains, establishing internal recognition as a valuable technical resource.

Demonstrate proficiency in project management fundamentals, including scheduling, cost controls, and client communication.

Maintain regular communication with clients and regulatory agencies, managing expectations and ensuring transparency throughout projects.

Report project status and progress to program managers, facilitating effective decision-making and resource allocation.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in environmental and engineering consulting, with a focus on remedial actions and munitions response projects.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite Products.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff, and subcontractors.

Proficient in writing project work plans, health and safety plans, and other necessary documentation.

40-hour OSHA certification and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher.

Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.

Willingness to travel up to 25 to 50 percent of the time to project sites, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.

Additional professional certifications such as M.S., P.E., P.G., or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience in managing and executing environmental remediation construction projects.

Previous involvement in preparing or contributing to project proposals, showcasing strong business development skills.
