ASC Teaching Assistant - September - Macclesfield
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced ASC Teaching Assistant to start after the summer break in September for a secondary school in the Macclesfield area.
You will be working with small groups as well as on a 1:1 basis at times with various pupils who have ASC. Experience in similar roles would be advantageous. Some students can at times display challenging behaviour, so a calm and resilient manner is essential.
The role will start in September will be a full time, long term role continuing on a ongoing basis for the whole of the next academic year.

* Minimum rate of pay GBP100 per day
* Hours 8:20am-4:00pm (term time only)
TA Experience, Training and Qualifications
It is essential that you have at least a Level 3 childcare qualification and have recent experience working in a school or educational setting, supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
You will also be required to have up-to-date Safeguarding training (in the last 12 months) & prevent awareness training (in the last 3 years); you can undertake these courses free with Prospero Teaching.
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
* Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide a minimum of two professional child related references.
