Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit hardworking and committed SEND Specialist Teaching Assistants for mainstream primary schools in Walsall. We fill roles on short term and long-term basis.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have good experience working with students with SEND and must be confident in supporting on a 1:1 and small group basis, inside and outside of a classroom setting. They will also need some level of resilience as some of the children may display challenging behaviour.

We are seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants who will:
· Work with alongside the class teacher to support children when accessing the curriculum.
· To support the class teacher in the preparation of lessons
· Support group activities and individuals
· Support the children's well-being
· Be proactive and flexible in supporting children's needs
· Work closely with the other staff and maintain positive links between home and school by making parents feel welcome
· Have NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or recognised equivalent qualification)
