About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support an exceptional group of students. In this role, you’ll work closely with a talented team of teachers and support staff, helping young learners with diverse needs reach their full potential. Every day will bring the chance to make a positive impact on children’s social, emotional, and academic development.

What You’ll Do:

Provide focused support to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors.
Offer afternoon assistance across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to various learning needs.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that helps each child thrive.
Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalized learning plans and interventions.
Build strong, positive relationships with students, offering the encouragement they need to grow and succeed.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Proactive and resilient, with a passion for helping children reach their best.
Willingness to assist with nappy changing when needed, ensuring all students are cared for.
A solid understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
A team player who communicates effectively and can also work independently.
