Due to an increase in workload, my client, an leading engineering company based near in Keighley are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their existing team on a permanent basis.
Candidates will be required to inspect a range of Machined components using a range of Dimensional inspection equipment (Micrometers/Verniers), CMM and FaroArm ( Training provided where needed).
Ideally you will be time served however individuals with a wealth of Quality Inspection experience will be considered. Candidates must be experienced in reading of engineering drawings and working with dimensional inspection equipment and checking accompanying documentation.
Hours - Various shifts available (Days/ Earlies/ Lates/ Nights) - shift premiums apply
Days- Monday - Friday 0745AM - 4PM
Overtime available all paid at premium rates.
Role Description
· Checking cubic and cylindrical parts and checking large components from heavy machining departments.
· Endo scoping parts to check for burrs and debris/swarf.
· Providing first piece inspection of machine parts.
· Measuring and working to very fine tolerances.
· Creation of inspection and non-conformance reports.
Any other reasonable duties as requested
Skills & Attributes

Time served in a relevant engineering discipline
*
Conversant in the use of traditional measuring equipment Micrometers/Verniers
*
Experienced in the use of CMM / FaroArm - advantageous
*
Experience as a Quality Inspector within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
*
Experience inspecting machined/ fabricated components
